# Project member roles

Project members can be either a Manager, Developer, or Annotator.

## Manager

Managers act as a Project Manager for the Project and have full administrative permissions for the Project. **They can**:

* **Project administration**
  * Rename/delete Project
  * Change the setting
  * Assign/unassign annotators
  * Add/remove members&#x20;
  * Add/delete labels<br>

* **Working with datasets**
  * Add/delete datasets
  * Create folders
  * Download image files
  * Download annotation data<br>

* **Annotation**

  * Annotate images

* **Collaboration**
  * Review images
  * Leave comments

## Developer

Developers are active contributors to the Project, but unlike Managers, they have partial administrative permissions. **They can**:

* **Project administration**
  * Add/remove members&#x20;
  * Add/delete labels<br>

* **Working with datasets**
  * Add/delete datasets
  * Create folders
  * Download image files
  * Download annotation data<br>

* **Annotation**

  * Annotate images

* **Collaboration**
  * Review images
  * Leave comments

## Annotator

Annotators are active contributors to the Project, but have no administrative permissions. **They can**:

* **Annotation**

  * Annotate images

* **Collaboration**
  * Leave comments
